Who publishes this guide
Bay Area SEO is an independent publication based in San Francisco. It is not an SEO agency, does not deliver SEO services, and does not bid against the providers described on this site.
Content is written and edited in house. Where a page describes a practice or a standard, it reflects publicly documented guidance from search engines and common industry practice, not proprietary research.
How we handle numbers
We do not run a pricing survey and we do not publish market averages. Any figure on this site is an invented planning example, included to show how a calculation works, and is labeled as illustrative on the page where it appears.
Use written proposals from real providers for any purchasing decision. If you find a number here presented without that context, it is an error and we want to hear about it.
How the matching service works
You can share your location, company size, and priorities through the matching form. We use that to identify providers whose service model, coverage, and client size look like a plausible fit, and to make an introduction.
Requests are free and carry no obligation. Availability and fit are confirmed before an introduction is made, and we do not promise that a suitable provider exists for every request.
How we are funded
Some participating providers may compensate us when we make an introduction. That is the only commercial relationship on this site.
Compensation does not influence what a guide says, which services are covered, or the order of anything on a page. No provider can pay for a mention, a recommendation, or a change to editorial content, and no provider reviews our guides before publication.
Your information
We share the details you submit only with providers we introduce you to, and only for that purpose. We do not sell contact details as a lead list.
You can ask us to delete a matching request at any time by emailing hello@bayareaseoagency.com. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
Corrections
Guides are revised as practices change and as buyers tell us which questions are missing. Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
If a page is inaccurate or out of date, email hello@bayareaseoagency.com and we will correct it.
Matching requests are free and carry no obligation. Some participating providers may compensate us. Editorial guidance is written independently of those arrangements.
